Mission
Since 2014, the Eagle Space Flight Team has been working tirelessly to be the first to put a student-designed-and-built rocket into space. Through rigorous research and the development of state-of-the-art technology, the Eagle Space Flight Team aims to provide students with the opportunity to apply knowledge taught in the classroom to a hands-on project, as well as encourage an academically stimulating environment.
Eagle Space Flight Team's primary mission is to successfully launch an entirely student-designed-and-built rocket past the internationally-recognized boundary of space (100 km/328,084 ft) and recover it intact. While many teams around the world are competing in this collegiate space race for the title, the Eagle Space Flight Team is motivated by its passion for space, and its goal of one day providing students, faculty and space enthusiasts with a platform to conduct scientific research in space.
