Philanthropy and Community Service

As we better ourselves, we also strive to better the world around us. Starting with philanthropies and community service that make resonating impacts in our local neighborhoods and across the nation.

Feeding America

Our national philanthropy has provided nearly 20 million meals to hungry families around the United States of America since our partnership in the summer of 2013. Though the closest Feeding America branch is down in the valley about 2 hours away, our local chapter aims helps local families through organizations such as Yavapai Food Bank and Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank.

JED Foundation

In 2019, Lambda Chi Alpha announced a partnership with the JED Foundation, a non-profit organization that exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for our nation's teens and young adults. Together, they are launching Lambda Chi Alpha Lifeline, an online mental health resource center tailored from JED's ULifeline website. If you are struggling with your mental health, know that you are not alone. Follow this link for assistance or to learn more about the signs and symptoms. Being educated may very well save someone's life.

For immediate help please call: 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Yavapai Humane Society

Good boys (and girls!) need some loving too. Our Pups 'n Pumpkins Event aims to help the local humane society take care of all sheltered animals who would otherwise not have a home.
