To promote the use of renewable energy on the ERAU campus and in the surrounding community; to practice responsible energy use and waste disposal by educating the student body and faculty; and to protect the existing natural resources and habitats present in Prescott, Arizona. The AEA will strive to combat the ever-growing issue of climate change and irresponsible energy use through education, conservation, and action.
Our annual Earth Day Event is our biggest of the year, with resources, education, food, and fun!
We also host environmental presentations at meetings and participate in environmental community projects.
The Alternative Energy Association is the only environmental group at ERAU Prescott, so we do it all!
We have initiatives for better campus recycling, a campus community garden, and composting at Earhart's!
AEA hosts subgroups for several sustainability projects on campus. Work on a team to better ERAU!
Our current teams are Engineering and Garden, but we are always open to host a new project group!
