What is EagleSat?
EagleSat is a student-led CubeSat project supported by the NASA Space Grant Program and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Our most recent mission, EagleSat 2, is a 3U CubeSat that launched on September 14th, 2025, as part of NASA's CubeSat Launch Initiative on the Northrop Grumman Cygnus NG-23 mission. The spacecraft carried a scientific payload designed to test how radiation in space can affect various types of commercially available computer memory. Additionally, we have engineers designing and prototyping future payloads, including NEMESIS and LIGO.
